SUMMER LOTUS

SUMMER LOTUS no.2

SUMMER LOTUS is a re-working of the original LOTUS series I did in 2013. Always in pursuit of geometry and abstract order I really just wanted to change the colour relations and the structure by refining the flower shapes and the background geometry. Here are both the first as well as the new LOTUS series.

LANDSCAPE & BEYOND

LANDSCAPE & BEYOND no.270

The LANDSCAPE & BEYOND series is an expression of how I see my life and art in relation to a sense of connectivity with the world around me. Living so close to the Rocky Mountains makes the mountains awfully difficult to ignore, especially when on any given day they look so completely different from the day before. Visit here to see the full series.

OMNIA

OMNIA no.7

Abstract is a word with myriad meanings. In the case with the OMNIA series, it is a readiness to live in the present yet looking forward, backward and sideways and as always.. inward.

SAIL

SAIL no.2

This series is similar in texture and richness of colour to the ENTWINE series and is also presented on a beautiful heavy canvas texture. These pieces are aptly named SAIL as they are abstractly reminiscent of sailboats on a lake. Check out the rest of the series on Etsy here or on my online shop here.

FOOTHILLS no.55

FOOTHILLS no.55

FOOTHILLS no.61

Selections from one of the landscape series that has evolved over the years. This series is called FOOTHILLS and is inspired by the beautiful foothills that stretch out from the base of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta Canada.. where I live. Available here.

CUBI VIGNETTE

CUBI VIGNETTE no.11v2

This is an alternative version of the popular CUBI VIGNETTE no.11 print which was featured in the WEST ELM summer catalogue. Prints of this particular piece are available in my online shop at www.thedor.ca. The original CUBI VIGNETTE piece is available in my Etsy shop here.
